Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This is a plain-language explanation of how businessluminance.com handles information — no legal jargon, just what actually happens when you visit. This site is operated by Peter, under the business name Business Luminance. "Entrepreneur Pete" is the social media presence for this business, not a separate legal entity.
What this site does not do
There are no sign-up forms, no accounts, and no cookies set directly by this site. Nothing you type gets stored anywhere here, because there's nowhere on this site to type anything — the only calls to action are DMs on Instagram, which happen entirely on Instagram's platform, under Instagram's own privacy policy.
Third-party services this site loads
To keep the page fast and good-looking, this site loads a couple of things from outside servers. Loading them means your browser makes a request to that company's server, which — like any web request — includes technical details such as your IP address. That's normal, standard web behavior, not something unique to this site, but worth being upfront about:
- Google Fonts — used for the typography on this page
- jsDelivr — used to load icon graphics on the AI Tools page
Neither of these is used for tracking or advertising by this site — they're purely visual/typography resources.
Hosting
This site is hosted with a third-party hosting provider. Like virtually every web host, that provider's servers automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) as part of normal server operation. This site doesn't have separate access to that data beyond what any hosting provider retains for security and reliability purposes.
Links to other sites
This site links out to Instagram and to affiliate partners (currently Go High Level and CustomGPT.ai). Once you click through, you're on their platform, subject to their own privacy policies — this policy only covers businessluminance.com itself. Affiliate relationships are disclosed separately on the page where those links appear.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, laws like the EU's GDPR or California's CCPA give you rights over your personal data — to access it, correct it, delete it, or ask that it not be sold. Because this site doesn't collect or store personal data directly (no accounts, no forms, no database), there's typically nothing on file here to request. If that ever changes, this section will be updated with the specific process for exercising those rights. For now, if you have any concern about data tied to you, reach out via Instagram DM and it'll be looked into directly.
Data retention
This site doesn't store personal data of its own, so there's nothing here with a retention period. Any technical logs kept by the hosting provider or third-party services mentioned above follow those providers' own retention practices, not something set by this site.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children, and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13 (the threshold under the U.S. COPPA law), or under the applicable age of consent where GDPR's children's-data provisions apply (16 by default in the EU, though individual countries may set it as low as 13).
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Visitors from other regions (such as the EU or California) still retain whatever rights their local law provides, as described above.
Changes to this policy
If what this site does ever changes — for example, if a contact form or analytics gets added later — this page will be updated to reflect that honestly, with the date above updated too.
